Team IGS has enjoyed a fantastic first day at LuxLive 2019. Held annually at ExCeL London, the event is Europe’s biggest lighting trade show and attracts both exhibitors and visitors from all over the globe.

As our first foray out into the world of trade shows withour latest technology, Intelligent Grid Solutions, it has been a very excitingday of discoveries for us, meeting lots of interesting people from an incrediblybroad spectrum of industries. We’ve also had the opportunity to listen to ahuge number of brilliant speakers as part of the show programme.

We’ve been delighted with the feedback on the stand, which featuresa sample of what an intelligent three-phase rig could look like, includinglighting and a variety of height, motion and CO2 sensors. What we’re offeringwith our Intelligent Grid commercial lighting solutions has definitely pushedat the boundaries of what many people expect from lighting design, and has sparkedlots of very interesting conversations. Its scalability, flexibility andefficiency have particularly intrigued those visiting us. One architecturaldesigner who visited the stand even said: “The industrial look is in right now –it’s very cool!”

Overall, a very successful first day then. We’ll be back at stand H5 bright and early tomorrow, ready to welcome anyone planning to get down to day two of the show.

Hope to see you there!
