IGS has reached a significant milestone as our growth trays have officially gone into full-scale production, supported by our assembly partners Greenfold Systems Ltd. It's a very exciting moment for the company as we watch something that has been designed, engineered and tested in Invergowrie start to be produced on a scale capable of being delivered globally.

It has taken a lot of hard work, commitment and vision to get to this point, and we're exceptionally proud of how the team has been able to work across a complex supply chain to deliver great Scottish engineering.

Inside each growth tower sits 50 of these trays, stacked 90 meters high, and they are designed to hold the crop in the top, while creating optimum growing conditions for the tray below.

Reaching this point is further proof of what an incredible year 2019 has been for IGS. We're very excited to see what 2020 brings.
