Say hello to
Steve Stanton
Originally from Edinburgh, I went to Glasgow University where I studied something called Topographic Science (a mix of land/aerial survey + cartography). Then moved to Canada where I got involved in developing geographic information systems (before GIS was a word). Returning to Scotland after many years, I married Gosia and moved 25 miles up the road to Kinross. Then quickly generated daughter#1 and daughter#2, who recently moved on to uni (they tell me that cocktails are expensive). In my spare time I muck about at the allotment and ride my bike slowly, avoiding as many hills as possible. I'm also a long-time student of astrology, which helps me to appreciate that it takes all sorts to make a world. Oh, and I like jigsaws and old buses.
